Corporal Zachary Anderson,U.S.M.C.
Here's a brief bio by Zac's family:
My nephew's name is David Zachary Anderson. He goes by Zac.
He is 26 years old and is a Corporal in the US Marine Corps.
He joined the US Marines in 2006. He is a fourth generation US Marine.
Zac is stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA. He served in Iraq in 2009, driving in convoys north of Baghdad, near Mozul, and will now be deployed to Afghanistan in July 2010. His four years were to be up in October 2010, but his service term is now extended. He is seriously considering re-enlisting.
Zac's MOS (I am sure you already know what that is - military occupational specialty) is motor
transportation. In Afghanistan, Zac will be supporting artillery - "Party with Arty."
Zac likes to ride and work on his motorcycle, is an avid surfer, and is a U.S. Marine Corps Expert Rifleman. Zac is a
handsome, quiet young man who is the first-born grandchild and is well-respected and loved by all his family members and friends. He is dedicated to his life as a Marine. Despite the many reasons given by his family not to enlist during wartime, he persisted in joining the U.S. Marine Corps and serving his country. We support his decision, and are so very proud of him and all members of the US servicemen and women. I first became aware of the "Warriors' Watch" by seeing the group on television - Phila. newsbroadcasts. I cry happy tears along with the families and friends of the honored servicemen and women, each time I see the "Warrior's" and the extremely happy families. I personally commend your group and want you to know how much I, and the rest of Zac's family, appreciate your efforts in supporting our hometown heroes

commissioned 2nd LT., US Army. Spent a year training in the intelligence branch,
including time at Ft. Lewis, WA and Ft. Huachuca, AZ. Then assigned to

came in handy!

LT (I slapped his new bars on him personally in Heidelberg, great fun!!!), John-Paul serves in the Joint Operation Command in Kabul, under General Rodriguez and alongside soldiers from 42 other countries. Footnote, General Rodriguez is from West Chester and a graduate of Henderson High School! Following his one year tour, he will probably return to Heidelberg
As for the rest of the Snooks, husband John is with the Brandywine Conservancy in Chadds Ford, PA plus Township Supervisor in East Bradford Township Son Walter is a freshman at Princeton, focusing on Middle East affairs, and member of the ARMY ROTC Tiger Battalion there. He hopes to go to Ranger school and infantry. Another footnote, General David Petraeus earned two degrees from Princeton, was awarded the university’s annual alumni award last month, and Walter’s battalion had the honor of spending the better part of two days with him!!! Daughter Alice is at Bishop Shanahan High School and Christy at St. Agnes Elementary. I try to keep everything rolling while helping build an Endowment Fund for St. Agnes School
My father, Robert Craig, is West Point 1952, sorry Navy but we are an Army family!!! Both he AND my mother, Alice, plan to be at the airport tomorrow!!! Erin is JP’s doll of a girl friend who works in North Jersey

A Short Bio by his family:
Kevin Michael Brackney was born on Sept. 13, 1976 in Detroit, Michigan to Cathy and Richard Brackney. Kevin has a younger brother, Michael. Their father died when Kevin was 15 years old. Kevin enlisted in the Army in 2004 and was a member of the Signal Corp stationed in Kitzingen, Germany. He served two tours in Iraq. His first deployment was to Tikrit in 2005; his second deployment was to Baghdad from October 2007 to March 2008. While he was in Baghdad he received his Sergeant's stripe. He is currently stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany in the 44th ESB (Signal Batt.) Charlie Company. Kevin's time in the Army has allowed him to complete his college education and he will get his degree this Spring. He also completed a Warrior Leadership course and Army Leadership training in Grafenwoehr, Germany.
He is a great guy -- we call him our 'gentle giant'.
Kevin and my daughter, Gianine, were married on March 7, 2009. They had 2 weeks together before he had to return to Germany. Gianine finally joined him there in May 2009.
Although their time in the Army has been a great experience, they are both counting down the days to their return home.

From Steve's mother:
My son, Specialist Steve Young has been stationed at Ft. Richardson, Alaska since July of 2008.
In March of 2009 he was deployed to Afghanistan.
He went back to Ft. Richardson in the middle of November for his 2 week R&R
and to be there when his son was born. His wife had heart problems and he was allowed to stay in Alaska with her instead of going back to Afghanistan
(which he wasn't necessarily happy about - he didn't like leaving his buddies over there).Anyway, he is coming home to Brookhaven, PA on March 27, 2010.
This is the first time he's been home since being deployed.
Would ya'll be interested in helping? He and I would be thrilled!
Thank you very much.

To All:
The request for an escort and show of support for the Police/Biker's funeral is very painful because it reflects the rise in suicides in stressful jobs. Normally you would find request for Soldiers here, but the only difference is the uniform.
May God bless his family and keep them by His grace!
Yours in Christ,
Florence

Brief Bio from Chuck's neighbor, Angela: My neighbor Chuck will be coming back from a year in Iraq on Saturday Feb 13th. He's flying in to Philly. He did the NJ Run for the Fallen last August when he was home for his 2 week R and R.
Part two Email..
About Chuck, this is the end of his year long deployment to Baghdad. He is returning back to McGuire to be reunited with his family before he moves to another base stateside next month. The reason I mentioned the 2 week R&R is that he was one of the 24 runners doing the Run For the Fallen last August while he was home for his 2 weeks R&R. Someone dropped out at the last minute and Chuck said let me do it. Bubba told him to enjoy his r&r, but he insisted on doing it. He is a great guy and cares a lot about helping others.

Okay folks we have been asked by one of our own Lee Cannon "LEE" to pay tribute to his Uncle Joe Cannon a very proud WWII veteran. The family will be having a holiday party and we would like to surprise Mr. Cannon with a mug-n-hug and coining. Joe is a very proud Veteran and Lee is very proud of him as well, he wants to be able to do this for his Uncle as he doesn't want to much more time to slip by without his Uncle knowing how much his service for his country is appreciated by so many.
A letter of request by Lee Cannon for this coining: It will be a 2fer indeed.
It would be a great honor if I could have my fellow wwr riders attend this request for a hug&mug, coining of two WWII combat vets at the same time both are my uncles. {1st} Joe Cannon 87 years old the younger brother to my late father, Leo C Cannon Sr. {died in 1969 also a combat vet WWII that was awarded (the bronze star)} the 2nd is Fred O'Neal my uncle by marriage. Joe was with the 104th infantry division "Timberwolfs" company?? He is very proud of this time of his life, so much so that he has a room in his house with maps of the areas he had been in and the battles he fought in and was part of. Such as NormDay, d day, Battle of the Bulge, Arken Forrest, are the only ones that come mind, to me at this time.
Fred O’Neal 85 or 87 years old I can't say much about him. Because we never talked about this time of his life at all. But I'm sure we will, after this day is over. This could be #3. I have a nephew Cpl Gabe Fox 31 years old of Pendel, Pa. Also a combat vet that served in Iraq with the 25th Marines 2nd bn echo company in 2003. places visited Nasiriyah and Ash-Shatrah to name a couple sand holes. I'm not sure if I can pull this off on him. He does not like all the fan fare, for what he did for his county. #4 his father Wick Fox 62 years old also from Pendel, Pa was navy air at the time of the Vetnam War, State Side but still did his time. Late 60's early 70's. There could be one more marine that served with Gabe in Iraq but I don't have any info on him at this time.
In closing every service person that has worn a uniform of our great country, fought in our wars since General Geo Washington’s times, should have had the likes of us to welcome them home no matter what colors we have on our backs, it all comes down to the red, white, and blue old glory. Thank you all in advance. I'm proud to ride or tail gun for each and everyone of you guys & gals.
God bless America & happy healthy 2010 to all. Praise the ones that are here and remember the ones we lost.
Army MP Spec. Erica Walsh is coming back from her second deployment overseas. She previously spent one year at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and is soon to finish up a year in South Korea. She has been in the service for over 5 years now, met her husband Nate and married while in the Army. We are proud of Erica and our military family. Her Uncle graduated from West Point and served for 24 yrs. and was awarded the Bronze Star in Desert Storm. Erica's sister, Michele is a 3rd year Cadet MS III at Syracuse University and will be commissioned next year. Erica's 3 cousins Mike, Trish and Beth all served in Iraq, and 2 other cousins Paul and Barry are Marine Corps retired... not to forget all our WWII and Vietnam relatives who are no longer with us.
Erica is humble and will feel unworthy of this welcome treatment because she doesn't wear a Combat patch, but we believe every aspect of Service overseas is an integral part of the total picture and she definitely deserves to be recognized for what she does.
Please join us in welcoming Spec. Erica Walsh in Hero's Style!!!
